PAINTING SKIES

Most of us do not paint skies as a primary subject.  They are usually secondary and incidental to a painting, and as such, are frequently cloudless blue or grey. Maybe a few clouds.
I don’t intend to demonstrate how to paint skies. I will supply a few photos and bring some of my paintings along.
Those attending will need paints (Acrylic, Gouache or oils). Or Pastels or a mix of paint and pastels.
Watercolour doesn’t really work for the type of thing I intend but could be used as gouache for the exercise.
It would be helpful if people came with a pre-prepared support with a wash of pale (sky) blue.
